Warehouse Employee – Michael Kors | Venlo

Would you like to work for one of the world’s best-known international fashion brands? For the modern Michael Kors distribution centre in Venlo, we are looking for motivated warehouse employees.

Michael Kors has several different departments and types of work. Based on your experience, skills and preferences, we will discuss together which department would be the best fit for you.

What will you do?

As a warehouse employee, you will be part of the logistics process within the distribution centre. You may work in one of the following departments:

Inbound
You will receive incoming goods, help unload trucks and containers, and make sure products are correctly checked, sorted and processed.

Returns
You will process returned goods, check the condition and quality of returned products, and make sure they are correctly processed in the system.

Processing
You will handle goods within the warehouse. Your tasks may include scanning, sorting, checking, labelling, order picking and preparing products for the next step in the logistics process.

Shipping
You will make sure orders are correctly sorted and prepared for shipment. You will prepare boxes and pallets for transport and may also help load trucks and containers.

Depending on the department, the work may be more physically demanding or more focused on accuracy, quality control and product processing.

Working hours

This is a full-time position. Working hours depend on the department and the planning.

Within the distribution centre, work is mainly carried out in different shifts between approximately 06:00 and 20:00.

Flexibility regarding working hours is therefore important.

Salary

The basic hourly wage is:

€14.99 gross per hour – 100%

The following allowances also apply:

• Hours before 07:00 and after 19:00: €19.49 gross per hour – 130%
• Overtime: €19.49 gross per hour – 130%
• Saturday: €22.49 gross per hour – 150%
• Sunday and public holidays: €29.99 gross per hour – 200%

What do we expect from you?

• You speak and understand English well enough to understand work instructions.
• You are available full-time.
• You are reliable and keep your agreements.
• You work accurately and carefully.
• You are able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• You are flexible regarding different tasks and working hours.
• You are physically able to perform warehouse work.
• Experience in logistics or warehouse work is an advantage, but it is not required for every department.
• A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required. It can be applied for and obtained after you have started working.
